About

Surgical Corps is a nonprofit corporation managed by medical students to foster collaborations between students and leading institutions in surgery specialties. We provide area hospitals with professional, dedicated medical students who are eager to learn and assist in surgery research, teaching, and clinical practice.

For our institutional partners, Surgical Corps delivers outstanding medical students that match specification. We encourage partnerships that enable our student members the opportunity to learn and advance in surgical specialties. We are willing to work for modest compensation in exchange for building a foundation in surgery and recognition.

For our student members, Surgical Corps respects the interests, merit, and dignity of all. We strive to place medical students at institutions conducive to learning state-of-the-art surgical systems and procedures while interacting with leading surgeons in the TMC. Students are encouraged to make suggestions at any time to improve the quality of the organization, and the managers are empowered to contribute most effectively through self-initiation and progressive responsibility.

Overall, Surgical Corps is dedicated to providing highly motivated, professional medical students for our institutional partners. In turn, our partners provide unique learning opportunities for our student members, hence fostering a mutually cooperative and rewarding experience.
